Welcome to the new home of BDO Corporate Finance

We are pleased to advise that during September 2010, Moore Stephens (Jhb) Corporate Finance (Pty) Limited (“Moore Stephens Corporate Finance”), one of South Africa’s top-ranked corporate finance firms by transaction volume, will join the BDO International network and will merge its operations with BDO Advisory Services. The new firm will be re-branded as BDO Corporate Finance and will be one of the largest mid-tier corporate finance practices in South Africa.

Established in January 2008, Moore Stephens Corporate Finance quickly established itself as a leading mid-market corporate finance player, ranking fourth overall by transaction volume in the most recent DealMakers survey of South African corporate finance activity, and number one amongst accounting networks.

Andrew Naudé, director of BDO Corporate Finance says of the merger: "The experience of Moore Stephens Corporate Finance has demonstrated that there is a significant market demand for alternative valuation, due diligence and M&A advisory service providers with critical mass and international reach. As part of a large integrated global firm, and with its new, significantly expanded service offerings, BDO Corporate Finance is expected to dominate the mid-capitalisation market in South Africa".

The directors and staff of Moore Stephens Corporate Finance thank all of our valued clients and associates for their support over the last few years and look forward to collaborating on future projects. We remain committed and available at all times and ensure you of continued standards of professionalism and commitment. We are excited at the prospects which lie ahead and look forward to the opportunity to introduce you to the "new look" Corporate Finance team and to our BDO colleagues.
